Meet the Surprise Team Behind Servo Garage Doors Surprise
We’re the crew that answers when your door decides 6:40 a.m. is the right time to quit. Servo Garage Doors Surprise has been fixing, installing, and maintaining garage doors across Surprise, AZ since 2015, and every one of the 18,000+ jobs we’ve completed came down to the same thing: a technician who knew exactly what they were looking at and could explain it without the smoke. The people below are the reason a written price shows up before any wrench turns. Marcus Deller built this team around a simple rule: say what you found, price what you’ll do, and document what you did. Clause 1 of The Haven Standard isn’t a marketing line here. It’s how payroll gets justified.
Our People
Marcus Deller, Owner
Marcus founded Servo Garage Doors Surprise in 2015 and still runs every job through the same lens he used on day one: measure the failed part, show the customer the evidence, quote the fix in writing, then do the work. He’s the one who insists the torsion spring gets photographed before anyone talks replacement cost, and he’s the reason the Free Second Opinion offer exists. If another company’s written estimate lands on his desk, he’ll review it line by line. Marcus will tell you a door off its tracks at 7 a.m. on a Monday is the universe’s way of pointing out the cable was already fraying on Friday. He lives in Surprise, answers the phone like a neighbor, and has never once asked a customer to “call for a quote” because he thinks that phrase should embarrass an honest trade.
Danny R., Lead Technician
Danny has been turning wrenches on garage doors for over a decade, and he’s seen every failure mode the Sonoran Desert can throw at a spring. He handles the heavy diagnostic work: torsion spring breaks, bent tracks, opener logic boards that stopped making sense. Danny holds certifications for LiftMaster and Chamberlain opener systems and is our go-to when a wall console speaks in blinking lights instead of words. He keeps a 1/2-inch drive ratchet in the truck that’s older than his teenage son, and he’ll gladly explain the difference between a torque tube and a trolley carriage if you’re curious. Clause 4 is Danny’s favorite: photograph the failed part before quoting anything, because nobody should take a price on faith.
Maria S., Senior Installer
Maria has installed more than 2,000 garage doors across Surprise, El Mirage, and Sun City West since joining Servo in 2018. She specializes in full door replacements and new-construction installs, and she’s fluent in the quirks of Clopay, Amarr, and Wayne Dalton tracks and panels. Maria is the one who catches the small stuff: a door that’s plumb but not level, a seal that’ll leak dust in July, a header bracket half an inch shy of where it should sit. She keeps a photo library of every completed install on her phone and can pull up a job from six months ago faster than our filing system can. On weekends she rebuilds antique sewing machines, which is exactly as precise as it sounds.
Leo T., Service Coordinator
Leo is the voice you’ll hear when you call Servo Garage Doors Surprise at 2 a.m. with a door stuck open and a house you’d rather not leave unlocked. He has dispatched emergency garage door calls across the West Valley since 2020 and knows every neighborhood in Surprise well enough to give you a real arrival window, not a vague “sometime today.” Leo is the reason you get a named technician and an on-the-way text instead of waiting on an automated callback. He used to work logistics for a food distributor, so he treats a broken spring on a 110-degree afternoon with the urgency of a truck full of melting ice cream. His rule: if he wouldn’t want his mother waiting by a stuck door, he doesn’t make a customer wait either.
Chris P., Apprentice Technician
Chris joined us in 2024 after working residential construction in the Phoenix metro, and he’s training under Danny on everything from cable replacements to full opener installs. He runs the parts inventory for our truck stock, which means he knows exactly how many Genie rail extensions and Craftsman safety sensors we’re carrying on any given day. Chris is the one who double-checks the photo record before a job closes, making sure every customer leaves with documented proof of what was found and what was fixed. He’s studying for his LiftMaster certification and talks about spring winding cones the way most people talk about fantasy football. He’s not allowed to touch a torsion spring alone yet, and he’ll be the first to tell you that’s a good thing.
One Standard, Every Job

The Haven Standard binds every technician who rolls out of our Surprise lot. Clause 1 means a flat, written price and written scope before any work starts. Not an estimate range. Not a “we’ll see once we open it up.” A price. Clause 4 means the customer receives a documented photo record on every visit, showing the failed part, the work performed, and the finished repair. The 365-Day Done Right Promise is Clause 6, and it means if something isn’t right after we leave, we come back and make it right. Every technician on this page is background-checked, uniformed, and licensed under the same standard Marcus signed onto in 2015. Background-checked, uniformed, and licensed under the same standard Marcus signed onto in 2015. We work on LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Genie, Clopay, Amarr, Wayne Dalton, Craftsman, and Raynor. We don’t ask you to trust us on a handshake. We hand you the paperwork.
